Unlimited

Unlimited is the white-bordered third printing, released on December 1, 1993. The widely published 35-million figure is the rounded public total; the industrial model closes at 34,993,200 cards, the only total compatible with the 11×11 sheet system and the factory packaging ratios.

302 unique cards: 117 Rare, 95 Uncommon, 75 Common and 15 Basic Lands (3 art variants per land type), identical in composition to Beta but with white borders.

The reconstructed run required 🔒 Rare sheets, 🔒 Uncommon sheets and 🔒 Common sheets on the same 11×11 layout used for Alpha and Beta — a total of 34,993,200 cards, fully compatible with the rounded public figure of 35 million.

Unlimited was collated into 🔒 booster packs and 🔒 starter decks, shipped as 🔒 booster boxes of 36 and 🔒 starter displays of 10. Unlimited marks a logistics change: master cases grew from the 6 boxes used for Alpha and Beta to 10 boxes, following a packaging line upgrade in late November 1993. Per-pack pull odds are identical to Beta: same sheets, same pack composition — only the total volume changed.

Basic lands occupied fixed slots on the same print sheets as spells: every rarity slot in a booster pack could therefore yield a basic land instead of a spell of that rarity. Values already published by external sources remain free; derived figures follow the edition policy.

Basic Land Art Variants

Basic lands in Unlimited exist in three distinct art variants per land type. The total copies per land type are confirmed by the sheet layout; the split between art variants follows an equal-slot allocation on the print sheets, declared as a derived hypothesis. Each basic land page shows copies, pull odds and artwork for every single variant.
